As an middle-aged person I am frequently visited by memories of scraps of old lyrics/melodies for which it seems impossible to determine their source. Shards of old songs, jingles, kiddie music, music your class sang, old commercials, etc., that, no matter how many madeleines you wolf down, you can't identify where they came from.

Maybe like how we have scars but no memory of what caused them.

So, I would be very curious to know what unidentifiable snippets surface for you folks from around the world.

Please, not just old curious lyrics, but fragments of old song texts that come back to you without your having an idea of how you they came to become regulars, if infrequent ones, in your mental iPod:

One of mine:

"Hey, Ho, What do ya know?
we're gonna go to the rodeo." '
