To my surprise this work seems to be available at HMV/EMI Japan.
On amazon prices for a used CD go up to more than 160 dollar. !
At HMV the price is 800 yen / ca 8 dollar....

I haven't heard it in many years. Maurice Béjart used it for a ballet ....I vaguely remember a flamboyant score with male chorus. I'll keep you informed.
Mayuzumi's Mandala symphony is available on Naxos.

I heard it 40 years ago, and it is worthwhile: if you can snag a CD of it for $8.00, go for it!   8)
