Anyone else going to Bang on a Can's 26-hour ( :o) marathon this weekend at the World Financial Center?  Here is the line-up:

Bang on a Can 2007 marathon schedule

I'm looking forward to Brian Eno's Music for Airports (at 12:42am!), the two Galina Ustvolskaya pieces by the Hartt Brass Band and the International Contemporary Ensemble, and Steve Reich's Music for 18 Musicians by the Grand Valley State New Music Ensemble (at 4:32am!).  I plan to catch as much as I can of the first half before the need for sleep sets in... ;D

If you bring the cans, they will bang on them . . . .

I'll probably drop by. I don't know about 4:32 am though  ::)

Yep, it's free.  Quite an amazing bargain, if you like the repertoire!
