Now living in the U.S. and teaching at Princeton, Donnacha Dennehy is originally from Ireland, where he founded the Crash Ensemble in 1997.

I've heard a few of his smaller pieces here and there, but was prompted to start the topic after seeing the livestream schedule for this summer's Aspen Music Festival, where Augustin Hadelich will play Dennehy's Violin Concerto (2021), which the festival co-commissioned.

Thanks, this one is even more appealing than the first one, with Dawn Upshaw, the Crash Ensemble, and Alan Pierson conducting (whom I know from the group Alarm Will Sound). And also, what cover art!

Appreciate your putting both of these on my radar.
