It's HIP! One for the HIP Mozart thread. ;D

Q

Obviously, as it's the Salomon String Quartet. ;)

Why don't you enter it into the thread as you have found a cover picture that can actually be deciphered. ;D

I hereby declare KV421 superior [...]

It's so damn superior that it might as well be a quintet.
I love music. Sadly I'm an audiophile too.

KV421 for oboe, violin, 2 violas, and violoncello, arr. Franz Joseph Rosinack (1748-1823).
I would pay twice the price of this already full priced cd again if i had to. It has been my most consistent play since a month ago. And no, it's not because i am an oboist, i usually do not listen to oboe recordings anyways.

Q
The classical labels have a conspiracy to release 2-fers and budget boxsets AFTER I have bought all the components separately.

I shall get hold of this one. Had of course no idea of it's existence. Thank you.

Very interesting! The winds should make this quite the good purchase!

Ok, why don't you like onions?  ::)

Do they make-a-you cry?  :'( :'( :'( :'(

There to bold they demand your attention on them. The same goes with coffee its to demanding. taste me! taste me! Tea doesnt force you to taste it, it says im here if you have a fine sense of taste than you might enjoy me, but coffee smacks you in the face and says taste me! taste me! you cant escape me!. Same goes with onions.

**I should also mention I like lettuce. It is sweet tasting. Salad dressing ruins it though.

I prefer the Quintets K 515 and 516, but the last one, full of light, is a delightful work. The Andante is a miracle of poetical beauty.

To me, the best versions are those of the Amadeus and the Talich.
