Has anyone been watching the Magic? I finally decided to do nothing but sit down and watch a game (almost all the way through) without doing anything else- last night, it was the Magic vs. Cavs (best team in the NBA, at Cleveland), and it was a hell of a game! They were literally within an inch or so of losing by 1 point- couldn't believe they could get a shot attempt off of a 1.0 sec tip-off.
Not to mention them beating Boston at Boston in Game 7!  :o
Really, Boston was, what, 32-0 in Game 7s during the Playoffs throughout their history (or maybe it was just Game 7s at Boston)- so they pretty much made history.
I still expect it to be Cleveland vs. LA in the finals, though- BUT, the Magic team this year seems to be unusual- probably one of the most, if not the most, talented, but only when they are under lots of pressure (which could explain Boston Game 7 and their excellent road record- league best? can't remember). If they are playing a game without much pressure, they can easily be lazy and play awful.

What does everyone else think?

Nuggets and Magic in the finals?  Who would have thought..............?

Wish I could still root for the Lakers to pull it out, but as long as Kobe is a member of that franchise, I'm afraid I'll have to hope for a post-season demise, everytime.

If it really is the Magic vs. Nuggets in the finals, and the Magic win, this will be the greatest playoffs that I've ever known in my life! :o
(although the series is only tied 2-2, so I think it's more likely the Lakers will win)

My reasoning for liking the scenario is this- I always like when different teams get to the finals each year. I love variety- when the Bulls (and later, Lakers) seemed to win every year, things got boring. I wouldn't even want the Magic to win every year.

But seriously, I'm so proud of my home team. If you think about it, they were literally 1 second away from sweeping the best team in the NBA. If they held the ball for one second longer, LeBron James wouldn't have had the chance to make that crazy 3 in Game 2. I'm impressed!

Magic has really impressed me in this playoffs.

Well, I wouldn't say Lakers has been the team that "won every year" recently. Only once in quite a while, I believe.

Lakers!
Do what I must do, and let what must happen happen.

Well, they've won enough, anyways.  ;D

Damn Lakers, damn Cavs.  They both allowed David Stern to breathe easier for another day.   >:(   ;D

It will be Orlando vs. L.A. in the finals.  No way Cleveland will win two in a row.  My NBA predictions are always on target. 8)

Magic going to the Finals!

Hell yeeeeeeeeeahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!  ;D

Man, this will be good.

I love the way how no matter what happened, being ahead or behind, bad calls, hard fouls, Magic players not just Howard just smile at you. That must drive the Cavs, who are under far more pressure to win, mad as hell.

Now that we know it's L.A. vs. Orlando, it's time to predict the Champ - L.A.

Lakers all the way!

Yeah, that would be so exciting. Variety is the spice of life, after all. Go, L.A.!

Variety are for neutrals. That is true. But supporters of a team do not change sides just for that.  ;)

Ok, then, I'll allow you to cheer for L.A.
Cheer too loudly and I'll have to track you down, knock on your door, and tell you politely to please keep it down. Ok?  8)
