That was fun! ;D Now, a serious question out of sheer curiosity... those sounds (the loudest part) from around 1:00 till 2:00, are they words with meanings, or are they just sounds?

There are one or two occasional words that actually mean something like "jazz" (pronounced yatz in Finnish) when it gets a bit jazzy, but it's mainly just "scatting", as you guessed.

But it's no match for...

Death Metal Band: Amorphis

BS  ;D

Agree.  With JS Bach and Beethoven, Germany ought to rank ahead of any countries in its overall impact on world's music ...    ;D

???  Germany didn't exist in their times.

But which country today can legitimately claim either Bach or Beethoven to be one of its own other than Germany?

Their music transcends nationality and politics, it is music of the world and they belong to us all.

You have a point there according to An die Freude, as adopted in the final movement of the Beethoven Ninth  see link

71 dB

To me UK is #1 in music. It's the kind of society that seems to encourage creative musical genius. Purcell, Elgar, King Crimson, S'Express, The Prodigy, Autechre,... The list goes on.  0:)
Spatial distortion is a serious problem deteriorating headphone listening.
Crossfeeders reduce spatial distortion and make the sound more natural
and less tiresome in headphone listening.

20.GREECE - 168 points Number of Musicians in TOP 1640 : 16 - Average Musiquality: 3,94

BESTS FROM GREECE

Greek Soprano, Best European Female Voice of the Twentieth Century: Maria Callas
One of the Greatest Composers of Electronic Music of All-Time: Vangelis
Modernist Composer: Iannis Xenakis
Academy Award Winner Film Composer: Manos Hadjidakis

Better entries than I would've expected from such a generic and random list. I won't comment on the ranking, either.

PS. "Vangelis" does have a surname (Papathanassiou).

This is the secret U.N. list of acceptable music after the "Conflagration" of 2011. I think this list is creepy. It reminds me of the beaurocratic thinking that went into picking cds for our county's libraries.

We tell you what you like... so, you BETTER like it! >:D
