I have a version for three cellos. Very nice it is too (though rather hard I think).

Indeed.  I've played it in versions for flute/oboe/clarinet (transposed to F major for some reason) and flute/oboe/bassoon--mostly because I haven't yet had the chance to show it to other double-reed players of my acquaintance.  One of these days... ;D
