New forum but Harry hasn't lost his habits.  ;D

Naxos time, I see.  ;)
Spatial distortion is a serious problem deteriorating headphone listening.
Crossfeeders reduce spatial distortion and make the sound more natural
and less tiresome in headphone listening.

Would you have me to lose my habits dear friend? ;D
But yes it is Naxos times, some new releases!

Harry, thought you'd cleared out the CPO stock, some loose ends? :)

Wel I cannot deny, that once in a while I see things I overlooked, yes.
And of course new recordings keep coming right?
But I cleared out yes, almost!

Now, Harry, tell us please: can you keep up listening with buying? :)

I knew it. The same happens to me, not with CD's but with books. :)

Been there, tried that... never worked. :) I guess I'm hopelessly addicted.

Antonio Casimir Cartellieri.

Clarinets Quartets, Volume I.

Quartet No. 1 in D major.
Quartet No. 2 in E flat major.
Quartet No. 4 in E flat major.

Dieter Klocker, Clarinet.
Consortium Classicum.

Second time that I listen to these delightful works, and what pleasure they give. That he is forgotten and barely findable in the many encyclopedia's including the big books I bought a few days ago, no mention of him, is tragic.
Know then if you are in for high profile wind music, look no further, destiny reached!
Recording is excellent, and the performance does full justice to the composer.

I'm curious what you'll think of the Szymanowski Violin Concertos, Harry. I think you'll like them but who knows? ???

On second thought: No, I'm sure you'll like them... ;D

Harry, you're off to a good start.  But it would be simpler if you just listed every work ever recorded, and then cross-off the small handful of works that you don't already own . . . . . .  :D

Of course Maciek I love this composer, but what of this recording I cannot say before I have listened, but the Violinist is very good, and I have many recordings with him!
