The Hummel I know, and is fine within reason. I bought it, and it stayed out of my bin, and in my collection. The other two I don't know.

I'm sure it's much more appealing visually than watching some sweaty old man.  ;D

Yes.

It's good to see that Grimaud is well again. She had to cancel a concert here a few months back, which was terribly disappointing as I'd managed to score great seats.

ETA Whoops, I thought I was responding to Sarge's concert review, not the CD purchases thread :-[. But she still is very lovely at any rate.

GMG is dangerous for my pocketbook.  For months I've rarely visited, during which time I've probably spent less than $100 on CDs.  My hard-earned dollars instead have gone for frivolties like my kids' tuition, the mortgage, groceries, retirement investments, etc.  But in the past week or two I've been a frequent visitor and as a direct consequence have purchased:

Bach: Violoncello Solo Suites 1-6 / Paolo Beschi
Bach:  Violin Concertos / Hope, COE
Brahms: Symphony no 4 / Alsop, London Philharmonic
Brahms: Symphony no 3 / Alsop, London Philharmonic
Dvorák: Complete String Quartets / Panocha Quartet
Dvorák:  Complete Symphonies / Kubelik, Berlin Philharmonic
Mozart:  Complete Piano Concertos / Immerseel, Anima Eterna
Mozart:  Requiem / Harnoncourt
Stravinsky by Stravinsky / Box set of works conducted by composer

Thanks, y'all.

I can think of worse things to spend your money on.  ;)

Man does not live by bread or retirement accounts alone. You spent wisely.
