All Bach fans should be aware of the yearly Christmas more-than-weeklong Bachfest on www.wkcr.com. This is 24 hour a day Bach broadcast by the Columbia University, NY radio station, WKCR, 89.9 on NYC FM radio. The broadcast is a tradition going back many years. Listening in large blocks of time one is after awhile quite spiritually elevated, and amazed all over again at the vast output of this genius who juggled so many mundane responsibilities along with composing. One is also tempted again to anger at Wilhelm Friedemann for having lost so many of his father's manuscript scores.

All Bach fans who were not aware of this celebration of the master's music, and especially of its accessibility though the web, are grateful. :) Although one such Bach fan would like to point out that wkcr.com does not exist, and also would like to direct the other fans' attention to wkcr.org in its stead. 0:)

In other words: thanks a lot! ;D
