He starts up threads on obscure 18th-c. composers. Isn't that proof of his expertise?

And even Gurn or Gabriel would consider that one obscure! :D  Maybe we'll be lucky and Eric will derail it with a P&M discussion. 8)

G_D forbid!

Mike

Ha. ;D

On a side-note, who is Rob Newman? That is to say, I know he's the person making the Mozart threads, but I hadn't realised he also posts in the rest of the forum; and everyone seems intimately - no, eerily - familiar with him.

Eugene,

The rest of the forum! I hope not. I have just been doing a little tidying up. He does post in the Bach Cantata thread. Those posts have been left alone as his posts are on topic and uncontroversial. I have just locked a couple of threads he started.

He is to be kept to the padded Mozart cell or the 911 exercise yard. We might permit the occasional excursion to the moon....but right now, that's IT. So, if you detect anything I have overlooked, do let me know.

Cheers,

Knight

Can't they just do it out of a handy window? I am sure no one would object to such a little space polution.  0:)

If he were hip instead of terminally square, I might suspect that he studied at Kay Kaiser's Kollege of Musical Knowledge with Ish Kabbibble

but it seems he really studied under Professor Irwin Corey (though without realizing that Corey is a standup comic and that everything he says is ludicrous!)

BTW, Corey preceded Pat Paulsen in running for President:

89 pages on That Thread, and not the least indication of any music education.

Oh, boy: right again!

In the interest of upholding our long-standing tradition of not kicking ex-members in the nuts after they leave, I'm locking this one too. :)
