I can keep them in mind, but at least for now I feel I am very happy with what I have.

I am liking the 2020 set from Ronald Brautigam.  Period instruments, textures light, tempos fast, and the keyboard is very distinctive but perfect for the music.

Also Derek Han.  Martin Bilson/Gardiner and Robert Levin/Hogwood are in the Decca Box.

Brautigam is my favorite set! Another PI one I love is Sofronitsky.

For 'period' instruments, I'm w/ David, own the two above (see attachment) - also have the MI recordings of Anda and Zacharias (on MDG) - Dave :)

The Brautigam is growing on me now. The set is new to me.

Kristian Bezuidenhout on fortepiano - I owned his box of Wolfie's Piano Sonatas (top pic on left - reviews attached if interested) - BUT he has also released 5 CDs of 11 of the Piano Concertos, as shown in the pics - I've not purchased any yet nor have I previewed the recordings on Spotify, which I'll likely do soon - however, any opinions from others who have heard these recordings?  Dave

I love his playing, and Freiburger is in fine form.

Hey David - found a playlist already made on Spotify - just started to listen; 3 of the discs are offered as a box at the moment on Amazon, but I hope he completes the project w/ a larger offering; not sure if he is planning to do the first 4 juvenile non-original ones (as below), but both Sofronitsky and Brautigam include the works (she on harpsichord and he on FP).  Dave

QuoteMozart's very early piano concertos, K. 37 and K. 39-41, are pasticcios, or arrangements of sonatas by other composers, composed in 1767 when he was 11, and served as a compositional learning method. (Source = AI google search)
