Hi everyone,

The Concerto A Cinq Avec Violon Principal Et Orchestre of Exaudet (1710-1763), newly published in sheet music by the Éditions du Centre de Musique Baroque de Versailles, is interesting for all violinists who look for a repertoire to be discovered, for violinists who look for skilfully pieces or strings orchestra conducted by the first violin. Exaudet is a virtuoso violinist trained by the first generation of the ‘French Violin School of the Eighteenth Century’, represented for example by Jean-Marie Leclair. Beyond his technical playing, he is also a sensible composer who have meet success with a famous Menuet. Available as full-score, as reduction for keyboard and as parts, it is time to discover the French repertoire in the borderline of baroque and classical.
