Not me, got only a newsletter. But my latest sales are a couple of months ago... Their latest innovations were the Pettersson and Atterberg cycles to me.

BTW: Do you think there is more than zero human being out there who uses the jpc proprietary and drm infected, client software based "jpc mediacenter" crap?
OK, I admit there may be some dementia patients using this...

I believe Wurstwasser wants to know if anyone buys mp3s from JPC.

I don't.
Spatial distortion is a serious problem deteriorating headphone listening.
Crossfeeders reduce spatial distortion and make the sound more natural
and less tiresome in headphone listening.

mp3s? Where?

JPC mediacenter. As far as I can see:

- You need to install a piece of software in order to download their stuff.
- You seem to need their player in order to download their stuff.
- You get files in a proprietary format? Not sure.
- At least you get wma files which are combinated with digital rights (i.e. you cannot play them on devices other than windows/media player boxes. Sucks.

This is why I guess no more people than the developers themselves use the service.

Good services offer lossless (flac, tak, wavpack), modern lossy (vorbis, aac) and of course old, but common lossy (mp3). Optimum solution: keep the lossless source and encode on the fly, depending of what format the user wishes.

The jpc.de site [ https://www.jpc.de/ ]  has been down for many days now - did anyone see a news blurb about it being taken down for maintenance/remodelling?

Did they go OOB?

It's a problem with an older version of Safari (v5.1.10) that runs on Snow Leopard.

I had a similar problem with them couple of weeks ago. It has something to do with secure connections. Allowing more types of security protocols can help. Sometimes this issues go away by themselves within a few weeks, but it's annoying to be blocked out of sites (I have had problems with other sites too).
