Go for it! "Mozart meets his dream girl Erika Miklosa" seems a nice title for a thread. 8)

That tittle would be heartbreaking! I would like this tittle much better
"Mozart marries his dream girl Erika Miklosa"  ;D

I have never seen anyone sing so effortlessly. She probably can bench press me too, how tall do you suppose she is? Mmhmmm

Of course, being a 1928 home movie, it has no sound. ::) But still... :o :o :o

WICKED!!! The Pav sounds as lecherous as he looks around Isola Jones. Sutherland sounds glorious (maybe just a trite above 16 years old??) but I was too distracted trying to figure out what her wig reminded me of--British judges, me Lord.

Also to watch--what an actress Moffo was! Her face is a barometer of emotion, barely containing the pressure of emotions from within and at the same time giving more emphasis and weight to the words.

Is this another cleavage alert?

No dude cleavage alerts are for nice boobs, I have to stare at the sun for 5 mins after seeing Renee Flemings cleavage, its so gross. Someone should buy her some turtle necks for christmas.

Terry Riley In C (played in less than 5 minutes):

http://youtube.com/watch?v=P7xL46igMdw

my short version of In C is a zillion times better, it sounds like they play every fragment at the same time by the end.
and after it's over, they say they're going to play a version of Black Hole Sun (you know, the Soundgarden song). I don't think it would sound good with an ensemble like that, though.
Then some guy in the audience yells that some other guy is a sexy man  ???
(i think there was some serious alcohol going around in that place...)

After reading that description of yours - nothing will stop me from following the link. ;D

I heard Callas singing this one and it sparked my interested in this opera, so I need to go to the library and find a recording  :)
