Apple has just released a free app that our music department has created.  It is called Composer of the Day app, and it is for the iPhone and iPod touch.  Here are details:

Our app attempts the impossible:  To choose the most composer classical composer born on each day of the year, and to make a one-sentence descriptive bio for that composer!

The app is free.  So, if you an iPhone and iPod touch I hope you will give it a try.

That's a pretty cool app, Dr Kazez! I wonder if you are planning a sequel for famous performers - my curiosity inspired by the fact that today is Daniel Barenboim's birthday...

I don't have an iPhone, but I try to keep track of my favorite composers' birthdays on various calendars!

Typo?  Or does "the most composer classical composer" actually mean something?
