Can't add much at this point - I've used nearly all of the suggestions made; my most common method by far is to copy an image's URL & simply paste into the image icon; note that you can also 're-size' the pasted image, e.g. below is a Beethoven disc I just received - image from Amazon (240x240 pixels) on left; enlarged (middle); and down-sized (right) (just quote the message if not familiar w/ this option) - just make sure to maintain the 'aspect ratio' - also notice that enlarging images will often cause 'pixelation' due to their small size.

I've scanned CD covers & have done minor manipulations (cropping & re-sizing) like Sarge & have also uploaded digital images taken w/ my camera; but again, most of the time I try to find an image on the web - usually start w/ Amazon or 'google' for the CDs -  :)

BTW - for those who are not much into 'image manipulation' - give Irfanview a try - free & simple to use; I do nearly all of my cropping & re-sizing w/ this program (plus, there have been many other options added over the years) - enjoy -  :D

Looks like this (added a space in "[/img] for visibility of the code.)

Google Images for me.

I can find what I want 90% of the time.

I don't have a scanner...yet :)

Amazon stocks most CDs and has large format images of most of their CDs.

You can customise the look of your images by adding specific codes in the URL. This page explains how. All you need is Amazon's item code (known as the ASIN).

lets see who can come up with the wackiest corruption of a CD cover!

Wow, interesting about that. But I have better things to spend my time on. I can't believe someone could be bothered to figure all of that out!

Just look at some of them here. Hasn't this guy got anything better to do?

I'd scan in my CD covers if:

a) I had a scanner that wasn't crappy

and

b) I could be bothered. ;D

Likewise, and I must, one day, make the effort to do something about it but your b) applies. :-\

Thanks Rob, that was very helpful. I usually get them from amazon anyway. So, this is perfect!  :)
