I'd like to shed that image.

So, Dave, what's the real story here? Did Mrs. Dave get an eyeball on that Cave of Iniquity?  ;)

Haydn: that genius of vulgar music who induces an inordinate thirst for beer - Mily Balakirev (1860)

I actually call my den "The Den of Iniquity," so it's probably not that.  ;D

"Magic Cave of Love" certainly raises red flags at Homeland Security, with all the chatter it attracts . . . .

MN Dave

That was off the tip of my brain. No ulterior motives.

MN Dave

I no longer obsessively collect CDs, so I expect to get kicked off this forum anytime now.

As long as you still listen to Henning, you're totally cool  8)

Oh, I listen to them. I just don't obsess about what to get next. Feels good.

There are other methods of maintaining total coolness, of course; I don't mean to suggest that listening to my music is the touchstone.

(It is the touchstone, but I don't mean to suggest so . . . .)

Thing is, I'm so busy now, I rarely worry about what to listen to. I have a day job, then get home, exercise, eat, write, spend time with the wife, read, bed...

No worries, lad; I know all about busy, and heartily empathize!

MN Dave

I mostly listen while doing other things: day job, driving...

karlhenning

Likewise, though at times, ya gotta just listen  :)

MN Dave

That would be nice. At least it's your job.  :)

In that case, I should have never been allowed to join this forum.

I'd have liked to contribute to this conversation, but I'm too busy deciding what CDs to buy next.

That's easy... whatever hyperion has on sell. ;D

karlhenning

Was that a typo for on sale, or a regionalism, Davey?
