No access at all last night but seemingly ok this morning.

Susbstitute "very difficult" for "not at all" and it's my experience too.

Since November 5: slow here, and an incredibly huge amount of visitors (sometimes even 6000+). Not good. As if the illness has settled in, resting from time to time whilst multiplying, and then breaks out again.

Oh dear, back at square one it seems. Would a block or a ceiling on visitors solve the problem? Or is that too simplistic.

There’s definitely been some snags this morning and only now have I been able to make a post --- it wouldn’t even bring the site up for me previously.

Right now, here in central Ohio, I have no problems with anything on GMG, despite nearly 4,000 "guests" being measured.

I suggested a block earlier, but haven't heard back. I noticed Rob was around yesterday, so I assume he is on it.

I get in easily with laptop, not so with the phone. No idea if this is systematic or random.

I knew the night had gone.
The morning breeze like a bugle blew
Against the drums of dawn.

I've experienced a few issues intermittently over the past few days: slow loading and sometimes complete failure to connect.

Edit: Right now everything seems fine, however.

I have been absent for a number of days and during that time I have tried to log on but to no avail. I was quite surprised at the number of "visitors" so I have stayed away until today when I was able to log on easily and speedily.

Are we hanging on by a wing and a prayer, or is something going on behind the scenes to try and sort the problem out?

The site is extremely sluggish for me this morning. Takes a bit of time to load pages or make a post.

The man that hath no music in himself,
Nor is not moved with concord of sweet sounds,
Is fit for treasons, stratagems, and spoils.
The motions of his spirit are dull as night,
And his affections dark as Erebus.
Let no such man be trusted.
