Speaking of whom, Cato . . . a must for this thread (a special case, obviously) is Stravinsky's ballet, Le baiser de la fée.

Certainly. Talking of early Stravinsky, try the 'Symphony in E Flat'. A mixture of all the Russian greats before Stravinsky found his originality!

I agree with the comments about the Tchaikovsky suites, wonderful lighter works!
