Belarusian composers

Part of the problem is that Belarus hasn't been a sovereign nation for very long - it's been part of Lithuania, Poland, Russia, USSR, and only in 1991 did it gain independence.

Stanisław Moniuszko is often considered Polish, but he was born in modern-day Belarus, and he is quite popular over there (probably best known for the opera Halka). Arthur Lourié was also born in modern-day Belarus, but is usually considered Russian. He's probably the most well-known composer born in the country, although I'm less familiar with his music than I'd like to be.

I've heard some of Evgeny Glebov's ballet, Till Eulenspiegel, which is available on Youtube, and is pretty good.

Besides these, I haven't found many of note.
