Who nails Mahler's 5th?

My favourite 'nailer' for Mahler 5 is the 80's recording by Inbal and Frankfurt Radio Symphony Orchestra.
The entire performance is like big musical narrative, one gets the idea that Inbal and his forces are telling a massive story, and one is compelled to listen.  It also helps that the Denon recording of these Symphonies was nothing short of outstanding for the era.

Which reminds me: I still haven't listened to first Saraste recording. I did buy it but can't find it now. Probably buried in one of my new CD piles. Time to call out the bloodhounds.
