I am a young 33 yrs old Mozart. The best boses i have ever had have been women, the best teachers i have worked with have been women but when i have problems with people at work it is always women.

I disagree with you Iago.  Whilst i respect your point of view it is very negative and would lead to nothing good.  Your thoughts will only lead to bitterness and depression for the person thinking like that.

many years ago i found my 'ideal' job.  It started great, lots of support and encouragement.  Over a period of time my boss turned on me and made it clear i wasn't to her liking.  Things were said about me which were not true.  Things parents/students had said.  People were sent in to see me teach, and even good lessons were picked apart.  I was even accused of losing the 'sparkle' i had when i started. No wonder!  I decided to leave.  Found a new place to work and i have never looked back (well on occasions like this i feel bitter about it and her-but it makes me think that i never want to do that to anybody).

Maybe the job changes people -they take the personality of the position they hold.

How old are you Yashin? Havent you learned by now that women are very insecure about themselves which makes them act like bitches?

As opposed to all these super secure male individuals who can't stop comparing the lenghts of their members?

Well.
That wasn't very nice at all.
:(

Iago

Yashin,

Your "profile" says nothing about your gender. And as far as I can see you have not as yet told us what it is. Your gender and other factors, may play a very large role in determining what other people expect and/or think of you.
Are you male, female, caucasian or dark skinned, straight or gay, large or small in stature?
In the "perfect" world, those would be irrelevancies. But in the "real" world, they're not.
"Good", is NOT good enough, when "better" is expected

Iago

Yashin, apparently doesn't wish to answer my questions.
I wonder why?

Sorry Iago, i will not play your game either.  Cyber bullies and workplace bullies. They are all the same.

By NOT answering them, you HAVE answered them.

Ive been unemployed since 2004, well not really, I havent been collecting any checks from the government or anything, I'm simply not employed.  Ive been doing school, but during summers just been bumming around at home.  Cash is starting to disappear thanks to impulse buying which has to stop, so I pretty much need a job next summer for sure, if not the remainder of this summer.

I'd love to work from home doing data entry or something, but that's a pipedream. I don't really care what I'd do, as long as I got paid what I was worth.  Its a pain in the ass finding a good job because they all require X amount of experience which I don't have.

Also being self employed kind of sucks because you pay double taxes since you dont have an employer paying for half of it.

Yes, in fact, I've decided that I have the dream job. I'm truly blessed. Its my creation :)

I just got an offer for a new job. 25% more pay.  ;D  Haven't decided yet, though. I have switched too many jobs in recent years - three employers in five years.

After I was made redundant, again, by the Tory Government and its recessionist policies I decided to retrain, again, in a profession I knew, for certain, that there would always be a demand for.

No, not funeral director, although the thought did cross my mind.

I took up training, at my own cost and taken from the redundancy settlement, on the use of firearms.

I specialised in those high speed long range rifles but passed in the use of all kinds of guns.

I, then, had to buy the 'equipment.' This was not cheap and not only exhausted all my redundancy money but forced me to take out a loan. Fortunately my mortgage and other debts had been cleared. I could have sold the car, I suppose, but thought that I may need it.

I advertised on the web.

The work has never ceased and I travel all over the world at the client's expense, of course. In fact I am turning away assignments these days.

I am not greedy, I just earn enough to keep myself in the style to which I have been accustomed, and CDs. ;D

I should add that I am very happy in my work.
