Oh, my! I was sure the avatar was taken some time ago, but 20 years!...

Now seriously, your current self gives me the impression of a composed and wise gentleman. The avatar gives me the impression of a jovial and debonnaire gentleman. I guess you are both.

Verily.

Thank you Lol!

We've got them coming here to stay tomorrow. My wife has given me 1000 tasks to prepare for the Grand Visit! Still, I shall be watching the Champions League Final tonight (supporting Chelsea, of course).
;D
Happy now?   :D

I hate to follow such a lovely picture with something with me in it, but here we are:

https://abergavennysymph.org.uk/recordings/2021-autumn-concert/

Not suggesting it should all be listened to, and for most of it I am out of sight behind a pillar, but between 1:09 and 1:10 the camera angle changes without warning to reveal the percussion section in all its glory.  Then shortly after 1:12 I begin a battle with my no.2 to stop her coming in way too early (the time signature has changed from 2 to 4, but she never takes this into account).  For much of this section I'm gripping her tight by the wrist, but she escapes and comes in several bars early anyway.  Then between 1:13 and 1:14 I'm desperately waving at our conductor not to start the finale until we're ready, but he doesn't see me (he does apologise afterwards).  I never do find my music and play the finale from memory.  One day I'll look back at this and laugh; for the moment it's head in hands stuff.

Edit: Don't know if my browser was playing games, but on my previous login the latest pictures in the thread were of Jeffrey's daughter's wedding, hence my opening comment.  Lovely as you are, Karl.

Good program, Dave, and fun to watch you semaphoring your signals of distress to the conductor. :D
