LOL

Buffalo Bills are walking into the playoffs with the Jacksonville loss an hour ago.

Still the Dolphins-Bills match should be fun provided the marquee starters aren't "rested". It's one of aspect of contemporary pro sports that I dislike.

The Bills and Dolphins both worked hard to make it difficult for themselves. Fortunately, a couple of moments of individual brilliance from Josh saved the Bills from a rematch.

Elsewhere, Wentz probably won himself a contract somewhere for next season.

Quote from: drogulus on December 12, 2023, 02:59:25 PMI'm rooting for the Bills to beat the odds and make the playoffs. There are only 2 slots available and 6 or 7 teams vying for them. Josh Allen is just so much fun to watch.
Josh Allen has been so mistake-prone this season, which makes him, in a curious way, even more fun to watch. Jaw-dropping brilliance or puzzling mistakes, you don't know which will come next!

I've been saying this for months.  ;D

What a game for the Packers over the Cowboys on the road! I don't understand why Ceedee Lamb forgot how to play football all of a sudden. Those drops are so amateurish even by college standard.

As for the Lions over the Rams by a point, I guess it's fair to say that the Strafford-Goff trade was a true win-win deal. The Rams got their Super Bowl win, and the Lions finally built a winning team.

Can't wait till tomorrow's two matchups. Go Bills! (and Go Eagles!)

Being in Beijing, you have to be a super fan to watch every match. I have no idea what time zone I am living in...

That's what the playoffs are for ;D It seems in a lot of sports some of the best players of the regular season seem to disappear in the postseason. Still, I was shocked to see GB knock out the Cowboys so easily.

I was glad to see the Lions win. Detroit has waited a long time for something to cheer about.

I have no real favorites in the mix, but I'm definitely rooting against the Chiefs. After Mahomes' and Andy Reid's crybaby act after the legitimate penalty call in the Buffalo game, they have totally lost me. (Seeing Mahomes on every other sporting event TV commercial here doesn't help, either.) I thought Miami would have put up a better fight.

I'm looking forward to today's Steelers/Bills game.

After a two hour sleep, I am up and ready to watch the games!

When it comes to playoff games in the cold in Buffalo, the first game in the past that comes to mind is the Raiders crushing the Bills decades ago. This time there is no "home weather advantage", which is much overrated anyway. I am all in for Buffalo this time.

Well that didn't take long! That Bills opening drive was a little too easy. Are these the miracle Steelers?? 7-0, Bills.

Don't you love the throwing-snow-powder-in-the-air celebration in the stands?

Yulp!

Well, I dunno. Thought this would be a contest.  8)

(in less than 3 minutes of play) 14-0, Bills

And Allens runs 52 yards into the endzone. 21-0, Bills. Woof. See you at the Eagles-Buccs match.  :D

Can you believe that David Moore endzone run? Shame on the Birdz. That was inexcusable for the NFL. Haven't seen that kind of dodging since O.J.  ;D

10-0, Tampa Bay

The Lions/Rams game was the only one where the score was close. Hopefully, next week will bring more competitive action.

Ha. Quite. Wouldn't make a (high stakes) bet on the outcomes, though.  ;D

Good one in Baltimore. Tied at 10 and the Texans coming downfield fast near halftime...

Baltimore kicking the offense up a notch after the half -

17-10, Ravens

Isaiah Likely catches it in the endzone. 24-10, Baltimore

Ravens would have to collapse at this point for the Texans to prevail.
