This is just a query.  On YouTube I heard a pianist performing Krein's "Poem For Piano #1.  This is a short but beautiful work, very typical of Alexander Krein's chromatic, subtle harmonies.  I was wondering where I could acquire the score to this single work.  I tried everything online but came up with nothing.  Would appreciate any suggestions.

Try contacting that guy Hexameron on youtube. He posts lots of early 20th century Russian piano music with scores. Maybe he would know where you could find it.

I'm sure you looked there but there's some Krein on IMSLP. Even more striking, to me, of what is on IMSLP, is the piano music of his brother Grigoriy... great stuff

If this is what you were looking for ( Poeme op. 11 no.1 )

than Luke solved your problem, score can be downloaded from IMSPL, here:

Does anyone know or is he or she familiar with any source which may contain info on the possibility of a 2nd. Symphony? If such a work exists, I'd sure like to know about it.  Most listings of Krein's compositions mention nothing about a second symphony.  Yet some googled slices of info did mention such a work.  curious.
