The polls are now closed.  Ten members voted, a very small number considering that 23 members voted on the Bach pianist poll.  No wonder I'm sometimes skeptical of the taste level around here. ;D

Anyhow, here's the list (only thru no.10):

1.   Leonhardt
2.   Rousset - Ross
4.   Wilson - Curtis
6.   Gilbert - Hill - Hantai - Pinnock
10. Dantone - Moroney - Walcha - van Asperen - Watchorn - Landowska - Rannou - Staier

I would have voted except you said I could vote for 20 harpsichordist.  I don't even know 20 harpsichordists.  I could conceivably name a favorite if asked to chose one or maybe two.   :D

By the way, currently listening to the Goldberg's with Scott Ross.  This is one piece of music which demands a harpsichord, in my opinion.  This one is pretty good!

Yes, same here.
Although maybe I did listen to 20 harpsichordists in Bach .... but still I've got too little listening experiences to 'judge'.
Apart from that, I can live with Leonhardt 'winning' this tough competition! :D
