Yesterday, the 29th and " final " season of Diablo 3 launched at 1700 PDT.

I was creating my seasonal character at 1702.  ::)

Got him to 70 around 0200 this morning, and I'm looking forward to slaughtering vast numbers of pixelated demons going forward. ;D

Quote from: hopefullytrusting on September 16, 2023, 01:29:58 PMI've been trying to see if there is another game on GoG that I'd like to play, but I'm still searching - I wish Far Cry 3-4 were on it.

You would still need uplay even if gog had them, so you might as well bite the bullet and install uplay if you want to play those games.

I'm still holding out hope they'll be allowed to go the Far Cry 1 and 2 route. Worse comes to worst, I'll find another game - I am a very, very patient gamer.

I've not had this much fun playing a game in a long, long time. In fact, it is almost too fun that I have to cut myself off so that it doesn't affect my productivity. Lol. ;D

Yes I've heard that it is a sleeper (no pun intended) but never got around to it!

Totalbiscuit's has an excellent introduction to it should you ever be interested in picking the game up. (Well worth it, in my opinion, but I game very slowly.)

Oh that is probably where I heard about it.  I used to be a subscriber and avid watcher of his channel back in the day.

Only two main missions left, which means I am going to be spending the rest of my time 100 percenting Sleeping Dogs - quite literally everything is fun about the game - the fighting system, the driving system, the shooting system, all of it is freaking sweet.

Haven't had this much playing a game in some time.

Just started playing the first Devil May Cry, loving the aesthetics and it's the perfect mindless thing to play for me right now. Aesthetic vibes reminds me of a cross between Resident Evil and SMT 3: Nocturne.

(never played any DMC game before)

Okay, I couldn't wait, so I beat the main story last night. The rush to the end was a lot of fun, and the last boss was a satisfying kill, but the actual ending I didn't care for, as you basically get to return to things as normal even though, the way I played it, and the way every character in the game saw and reacted to, was quite literally a full-blown Triad boss, with all the brutality that entails.

There is a vague line about which Hong Kong does our player-character call home, but that's it. In short, I wish they had allowed for multiple endings, like in Far Cry, one true and one made for Americans.

All in all, Sleeping Dogs is easily one of my best gaming experiences, and I will continue to play to complete the missions I left undone, as the gameplay, on all levels, is chef's kiss.
