"Make Music New York" 2010

On Monday, June 21, the fourth annual Make Music New York will offer over 1,000 free concerts in 11 hours, all over the city. 

Of particular interest: a number of Xenakis events in Central Park, including Persephassa, performed around the lake, with audience members encouraged to be in boats, surrounded  by the musicians.  But the day's offerings are quite diverse--perhaps 50% classical from what I can tell, but also including rock, jazz, and blues, among other things.
