maybe you want to take a few classes in Mathematical reasoning? Writing abstract proofs starts out with learning the axioms, like learning your abc's.

     Maybe the problem is that I wish I wanted to learn math, but don't "really" want to enough to do anything about it. Anyway, I'm learning other things right now. At my age it's a good thing if I can manage to learn anything new.
