MI - not sure where you are located in Georgia, but wife & I have enjoyed visiting the state, however, as you can imagine, we've picked 'vacationing spots' - Atlanta has some interesting spots (aquarium, Margaret Mitchell house, CNN, et al) and some excellent restaurants - most of our other visits have been to the coast, i.e. Savannah and the Brunswick area (Sea Island, Cloisters, and the other complex of islands there).

Now, a few years ago returning from a car trip to Amelia Island (just north of Jacksonville), we did an overnight in Augusta on the upper Savannah River - now, I'm a golf fan, so I gave Ausuta National (home of the Masters) a call to see if I could get a private tour (yes, a joke call!), but I was amazed at how cordial the person was on the other end of the phone explaining that this was not possible (of course, something I already realized) - but a FUN try - Dave  ;D

Well maybe Georgia isn't so bad. :D I guess from an outsider's perspective it might a pretty fun place to visit, but living here is a completely different experience altogether, but you know, I don't expect anyone from around here to actually enjoy the same things I do. Not everybody is fortunate enough to have grown up in a household that had Duke Ellington dance nights.  8)

Look at the bright side: the barbecue in Vienna ain't much ; )

BBQs are very popular here in Vienna especially with the Americans and the Turks. The Turkish families here love their "grill parties" on the weekends. They really go to town grilling on their tiny BBQ grills (hibachi sized), which are nothing like the large American sized, fully equipped BBQ grills that run either with gas, charcoal, electricity, infrared or pellets.  ;D

Well, but barbecue is no mere matter of grilling meat ; )

Are you a troll?

So anybody that disagrees with your opinion you ask them if they're a troll? No, I'm not, but I am somebody who doesn't mind sharing their opinion whether you asked for it or not. It is a forum after all.

What a peculiar question . . . there are others of whom it were much more apt to ask.

:D Dave, I was looking back on some of my old posts and some of the first conversations I had were with you. We talked a lot about Villa-Lobos. Always a fun topic for me. Good times....good times.
