Looks like typical retarded Hollywood inspired tripe. The lead doesn't even remotely look like Mahler to boot.

Then you shouldn't make the film. If you can't do the character justice, why bother? Then again, this film seems to be less about Mahler and more about why his wife was a whore, at least as she is portrayed in the trailer. Hope it tanks at the box office.

You're a hoot.  Why in the world are you so hostile about a movie?

Because the stupidity of it pisses me off. It actually makes me sick.

When I'm in a foul mood, I immediately go to one of my favorite Bach works.

I mean, judging by how often you are found listening to Bach.

And I thought that I had privacy in my home.  Anyways, Bach is great for every mood ever felt by humans.

consider that there has only been 1 movie made about Mahler EVER! I would gladly take any movie that is even remotely related to Mahler. and no, Death in Venice doesn't count.

judging a movie by its trailer? I would reserve my judgment until I've seen the movie.

Woody Allen. I'm certain Woody is the reincarnation of Mahler. Mahler's first incarnation was played out as tragedy; his reincarnation as comedy. Karmic balance   ;D 8)
