This looks like a fine programme and, on the subject of Mercury Living Presence, the CD below would be a contenter for me as it contains three of my favourite works by Hanson in very good performances. There is something very humane and compassionate about much of Hanson's oeuvre - a unique warmth, which would make him a very suitable companion for a desert island.
