I'm curious Karl. You MUST have had this conversation with yourself at some point. My theory is that you spell your name like whitman because it's the only way that you can reconcile being a composer with a semi common name.

I mean, you can't just go by Henning (Doug beat ya!,... or even David Hemming, haha).

Even Williams had a Vaughn in front of it.

What can we do to tart up your name,...make it more sexxxy for the younger demograspic??

Even Henningburger or Henningstein won't do.
