and all i notice is that you've capitalized lesbian. what's up with that?

Welll, since you ask...

In the context of the joke a Lesbian is someone from Lesbia, hence the proper noun.

If you want to take this matter before Cato and the Grammar Committee be my guest. ;)

The pioneering spirit is obviously still alive in Holland!

But why have our Dutch writers here at GMG been so silent about this incredible event, which took place last week?!

See:

And lest ye think it is just a stunt devoid of musico-politico significance:

And of course...check YouTube!!!
This has inspired me to begin work on an opera based on the life and interdimensional adventures of Ubloobideega...

Yes; the idea of writing an opera based on mythical characters contending in an imaginary world is quite unprecedented, if not to say pointless.

:)
Or mythplaced.  Or mythappropriated. ;D

Seriously, for many the Star Trek characters have entered the realm of popular mythology.  Why shouldn't we have an opera about them?  And since a language has been developed for them, why not use it? 8)

Only if you pardon my great enjoyment of the entire Star Trek series. :)
