What a Coincidence!
I had a downbeat dream last night. As a young man, I was offered a job at Lancaster Community College in Orlando, Florida. At the time, I wanted to stay where I was, somewhere near Lancaster, Pennsylvania, with my new utterly devoted girlfriend. But it seemed I had no choice. The only job opening in my field was at some two-bit, two-year college in Orlando. When I wrested myself out of this unwanted dream, I began my morning routine by checking out my favorite websites—starting with the AARP daily forum digest. The first thing I saw when I clicked on the AARP email was a large, bold-faced add for traveling to ORLANDO, Florida. I had never seen that ad before, but I sure recognized the name of the city where I was to be banished in my dream. Instead of shrugging off this unwanted serendipity, I decided to find out if there really was a Lancaster Community College in Orlando. If it actually existed, I would really have been freaked out. My googling calmed me down. There was a Lancaster Park in Orlando but no community college by that name.  Thank God. Otherwise, I'm sure I'd be hounded by the music from "The Twilight Zone."
