Albertus was canon and cantor at Notre Dame and overlapped with Leonin. Is Perotin the real genius of music? We can take the lineage in the development of polyphony in Paris at least to Albertus. Is he the real genius here?

well you already thought about it more than me, I chose Perotin because have listened to his music and not so much the others
