I am endlessly fascinated by maximalism because, at least as of right now, it is beyond my means. Minimalism - I get - that's my training, and that is maximalism in all forms - I love being lost in the thing. I think I also like maximalism because I am so small. I love being the little spoon. I like being wrapped up. Pieces like this do that for me, so I like it.
