lol Matt Heafy. Can't stand that guy. Some newer metal that is similar to Trivium, but much better (IMO) is

Catchiest band ever. And ridiculously awesome vocals/solos

Their old vocalist left, and he was so awesome at doing both growls and singing, that they had to replace him with TWO guys. That's right. The band is still pretty good though:

Some pretty cool stuff. I dig the first tune more, particularly the bridge and solo. It is pretty lame to have two vocalists standing around :( Too bad one of the other members couldn't double up.

The first song reminds me a little of Soilwork, who have a horrible band name but feature some very catchy melodies and beautifully tasteful solos, nonetheless. Good use of the dreaded keyboards, as well. As with so many metal videos, this one is cheap and boring, but the music is good:

That is...
cool. Thanks for posting that one.  8)

Tech death is a subgenre that I really like, so it was nice listening to a band in that genre I hadn't heard of (then again, almost the only tech death band I actually listen to is Necrophagist):

I want to buy their tab book, but I've heard of cases where people had to wait for several months without even getting it... and it costs $40 plus whatever the shipping price is from Germany to the US.  ::)
