Agreed. I have had The Wanderer (CDF) as my laptop desktop (huh??) for a while now.

My current desktop;

Haydn's Gebursthaus, the picture that Beethoven had on the wall of his bedroom when he died. Thanks to H.C. Robbins-Landon for that. :)

I took this pic from Cheraw State Park (SC) half an hour drive from home.  This is my desktop pic.
In this case you live in a beautiful place.

Yes I have to admit that South Carolina is a beautiful, scenic place to live! :)  The beach and mountains are both only a couple of hours drive away, and the middle of the state is filled with lakes, forest and farmland.

It is rare to find a natural setting which is not beautiful.  Human-created environments that are beautiful are rare.

IMHO the concert halls are beautiful too.  8)

A picture taken by the Cassini spacecraft: the rings and two moons of Saturn. Mimas is the one that looks like the Death Star and the American football shaped rock is Pandora. Left click to enlarge.

Very cool, Brian.

My current wallpaper:

The Andromeda Galaxy, about 2.5 million light years from earth, containing 400 billion stars. With the naked eye, only the central bright spot is visible. This is a photographic composite showing what it would look like from earth if we could see it whole through the haze of space. The size (considering its distance from earth) boggles the mind. It will collide with the Milky Way in 4 billion years, so brace yourselves  ;D
