On average, how much time do you spend listening?

0 - 1 hour a day
2 - 3 hours a day
4 - 5 hours a day
6 - 7 hours a day
All the damn time.

I voted about 4-5 hours a day, because when I get off, I eat dinner, and then go straight into listening to music.

I voted 2-3, but I suppose it's 3-4 usually, sometimes more, sometimes less (this is not counting my frequent very passive listening, which I consider a vice).

Most of my classical listening is on the weekend. During the week, my job and family obligations severely limit my free time, particularly the uninterrupted stretches of time needed to listen to complete classical works.
Men profess to be lovers of music, but for the most part they give no evidence in their opinions and lives that they have heard it.  ~ Henry David Thoreau

I'm about 4-5 hours of concentrated listening.  Music is often playing when I'm doing other things, but I don't think that counts for anything except background.
