Not sure if this belongs here but what the heck –

I've been recently test running bandcamp and posted an old project of mine I've excavated from the depths of my hard drive. It's called constants and consists of six pieces you might call 'minimalist' or 'dilettante', take your pick. It's not composition but fooling around with cut up melodic lines, running them against each other, changing their pitch & speed and so forth.. it was done around time I got into guys like Reich & Co. but didn't know a thing about how their music actually works, how is it constructed, etc.

That said, I got some good feedback on this record back when it was first released and there are moments I still enjoy after not hearing these tracks for years. I guess I thought someone here might enjoy them too.

If you've got time / mood for only one, try no. 4. My favourite!

I liked no. 6 more. I also went through a phase where I dabbled with composing a la Reich and Glass. That is one of the reasons why I prefer their works from the early 70s.
