Check out Karl Wieland-Kurz's I Giardini del Sogno--much of it is on 2-3 staves, and often they are in different time signatures! For instance, one section has the top staff in 21/32 and the other is 14/32+1/8!!! It's not as aggressively ugly as Ferneyhough's piece, though. It was written for Tilman Hoppstock, who has recorded it.

I like Tilman Hoppstock. His new CD, with the Willcocks studies on, is pretty good. Couldn't find this piece on youtube and the CD is kind of pricey, I'll look around. You should come over to the guitarists thread in Composing and performing, it would make two of us  :)
