The Faust Symphonie is absolutely amazing, very powerful! I really do not know why I didn't vote for Liszt as well. However, I do not know the Dante Symphony very well.... I'll take a listen to that soon! :)

It's definitely worth listening to; Barenboim's recording is marvelous, with the Berlin Phil  :)

what is the difference between Dutilleux's 2nd Symphony and Metaboles?  What does the term mean anymore?
