I fear there are not many of us  :'(

I believe every continent is well represented here (except maybe antactica).   0:)

It's a weird split - plenty from Scotland and England, essentially none from Wales and Ireland.

Whaddya mean? The place is lousy with Brits! They're everywhere, talkin' funny, listening to Vaughn Williams; in short, all the stuff you would expect from them.... :D

Bless their hearts.   0:)

We do have that one batty Welshman, Cilgwyn (sic). Seems like a right nice fellow too. Not a lot of Irish though. Strange, that. :)

(not sure Gershwin would have been tempted to write that)

Sarge, we need to persuade Elgarian to come to the Gothic Prom.

If you are in contact with him, send him my regards. I hope he attends too.

In an email to me, the late Mel Merkel (aka Iago, aka Cuddles, aka all-purpose curmudgeon) expressed his opinion of the membership of this site: "Too many Euros and Brits."
"I don't know what sforzando means, though it clearly means something."

Brahmsian

And I am from a British Commonwealth country.  ;D

Technically speaking, I am from a former British Commonwealth country.

I dunno . . . I don't think the Commonwealth existed, as such, at the time when these states were colonies, did it?

No, but who cares about accuracy when the straight line was too good to pass up.

Quite right.

Then again, Massachusetts is one of four states whose official title is actually Commonwealth.

:D  Yeah, that's where that quote came from. He used to complain to me all the time, as though I could do anything about it. ::)

I miss Mel, he was a fun guy if you knew how to take him. :)

New York is more an Uncommonwealth.
