AGP176 is the first of two featuring music played on the Ondes Martenot--one of the first electronic instruments, invented by Maurice Martenot in 1928. The Wikipedia article on the instrument has some nice information and pictures.

The LP transcribed for AGP176 was released in 1980 on disques Ades (14.036) and has not to my knowledge ever been re-issued on CD. It includes works by Jacques Charpentier, Andre Jolivet, and Darius Milhaud. The first is for a quartet of ondes martenot, and the latter two for ondes martenot and piano.
