Hi,

I'd like you tu help me to identify a classical music.

They are three pieces of the same work that I had in a cassete tape when I was a child and I liked them a lot.

They were recorded from the radio, and I never Knew neither the name of the work or the composer.

In this link you can download the music. There is zip file with the three pieces:

I would really appreciate if you help me to identify the music.

Thaks!

All I can say it's probably a late Italian opera, not my speciality.
But I'm sure one of our resident opera buffs can help you further. :)

Welcome BTW, please stick around. :)

I don't think it's an opera.  A cantata, I guess.  Nothing I'm familiar with.

Don't recognise it. Early Respighi? Wolf Ferrari?

I hope someone does know it!

Hi,
Thanks for your interest.
The only thik I can say is that they sing in Italian. Is very difficult to identify what they say. I've recogniced comething '...angel de primavera...' but It's not enough to identify the piece.
I hope someone can identify this mussic.

So almost for sure it is La Vita Nuova op.9 by Ermanno Wolf-Ferrari

First piece is the ending of №1
Second piece is №2
Third piece is №10
