i can't remember the name of a composer

Please help me: i remember only that this musician (not very well known) composed one or few piano pieces in the first years of the 20th century, and this pieces are atonal or at least very dissonants, predating the experiments of stravinsky and schoenberg. I don't remember even his nationality, i think he was french but i'm not sure about it...
