I've mentioned this elsewhere, but the full Mahler Gielen set is EUR 9.95 for those in Germany (on jpc). It's EUR 89.99 on CD.
Be kind to your fellow posters!!

We already have a thread for this called the downloads thread (which is pinned too).  I think this thread should be merged with it.

The new erato

The separation was a result of a VERY long discussion over there. Don't open this can of worms again........

I withheld a reply hoping the can would simply wobble slightly and come back to rest. ;D ;) Anyway, David is referring to another thread, the one used for discussions of download services and quality of files available.

Yes what Navneeth said.  Not talking about super bargain thread but instead the download thread, which has the benefit of being pinned.

Ahh; sorry!

I notice that Presto is offering (by mistake?) some ASV recordings for less than £2 per disc, or per disc's worth, I should say (MP3 and FLAC). (Some discs, on the other hand, are not downloadable in my country.)

Complete Brilliant Classics Tallis for £10.79 from Qobuz:

http://www.qobuz.com/gb-en/album/integrale-des-oeuvres-thomas-tallis/5028421942681

No digital booklet, but the individual ones are all freely and legally downloadable from Signum's site: http://www.signumrecords.com/products/pages/search.php?action=search&part=tallis

I was looking for the 2 or 3 individual volumes that I'm missing, but they would have cost a lot more.

For those of us in the Qobuz area (only a bit of Western Europe, sadly), complete Bob Dylan album collections at greatly reduced prices until tomorrow:

There are some incredible deals on various Lyrita collections on eMusic these days:

British Piano Concertos    4 discs, 305 minutes

British String Concertos    4 discs, 303 minutes

British Symphonies     4 discs, 316 minutes

and biggest of all:

Lyrita Celebrating 50 Years (both sets!!)     8 discs, 589 mintues

Each of the above is available for $6.49 each. And if you buy "double-your-download" booster packs, you pay half that. So you can download more than 25 hours of Lyrita's greatest hits for just $13 total!!

And by the way, those downloads are at 320 kbps.

Also, as far as I know, there's no overlap between the collections.

I dont know how many of you know Marcel Landowski, composer who served with André Malraux at the Culture Ministery and did a lot of very good things for classical music here.  I got tempted by

and I am downloading it right now.  Style is close to Dutilleux.
